Expanding the Frame: Making Alternative Digital Prints on a Variety of Surfaces and Mark-Making

With Patti Russotti in Guanajuato, Mexico

Expanding the Frame: Making Alternative Digital Prints with inkAID Transfer FilmTransfierez, and inkAID Receptive Coatings on a Variety of Surfaces

Would you like to add new options to your repertoire and explore new ways of working and thinking about images on a page? This unique, hands-on workshop is designed for artists and imagemakers eager to expand their creative repertoire and explore alternative printmaking

techniques. We’ll create one-of-a-kind prints on diverse substrates such as paper, textiles, glass, metal, wood, and more.

Through a playful, exploratory process, you’ll work with digital images, hand-drawn marks, illustrations, mono-printing, and hand coloring. Patti will demonstrate techniques for layering, transferring, and combining images — both new and existing — onto various surfaces.
